Celebrating 200,000 Learners: Doubling Down on Impact Through Online Education
Last year, I had the good fortune of celebrating my first 100,000 learners across my online courses. This year, I'm excited to celebrate crossing the 200,000-learner milestone, doubling that impact in just one year.
I write articles like this because it's the type of content I often look for myself, and I believe in creating things I think should exist.
As of December 5, 2025, 200,086 learners have enrolled across 16 courses released over 3.5 years on LinkedIn Learning, covering topics in AI, Data Science, Python, and Healthcare Analytics.
By the Numbers
- Total courses: 16
- Total learners: 200,086
- Highest enrollment: 41,023 learners
- Lowest enrollment: 1,070 learners
- Average enrollment: 12,505 learners
- Median enrollment: 8,581 learners
- Growth rate: 100% increase in one year
When I celebrated 100,000 learners, I had created 10 courses. Today, that number has grown to 16, spanning healthcare data science, natural language processing, Python programming, generative AI, and practical applications of machine learning. Each course represents countless hours of work, but more importantly, each reflects a different facet of knowledge I've discovered and felt was worth sharing.
The Journey
I'm incredibly grateful, because being an AI educator is something I once only aspired to. Eight years ago, I was a 26-year-old clinical pharmacist who discovered data science and AI online. I didn't have a traditional computer science background, nor did I remotely consider working in AI research as part of my career trajectory. What I did have was curiosity, access to the internet, and the willingness to fully commit.
Today, my work has evolved from simply giving something a focused shot to becoming a bankable author and instructor, supporting thousands of learners globally as they discover new possibilities.
The AI Revolution
With the rapid evolution and increasing accessibility of generative AI, it's been fascinating to witness how quickly the world is changing and to be in the middle of it. I often tell friends that it feels similar to the transition from typewriters to personal computers. Now, we have powerful "context machines" that are fundamentally changing how people work. I consider it a great privilege to help others navigate these shifts through hands-on, practical teaching.
What's Next
I'm deeply thankful that so many people have decided my work is worth engaging with, and I'm excited for the milestones still ahead.
