Celebrating 100,000 Learners in My Online Courses (Thanks to the Internet)
Today, my home internet is down; our building management changed our internet provider, and I guess it's something to do with the transition.
This is a celebratory milestone post about the enrollment of over 100,000 learners in my LinkedIn Learning courses. If you're curious about why this has to do with the internet, let me tell you how it all ties together.
To provide some context, about 7 years ago, I stumbled upon Data Science and AI online, and I thought it was interesting and worth betting on. So I locked in (focused Intently) and started studying and coding intensely until I was changed. If helpful, I should mention I was practicing as a clinical Pharmacist and was 26 years old.
I should also mention that I have always wanted to create courses too. In my head, I understand some cool stuff, and I would like to share all about it from this perspective. I even have a tweet about it.
So what's my future like? In less than 3 years, I have created 10 courses on one of the greatest learning platforms, and more than 100,000 times, people have decided to at least explore them, for which I am grateful.
This is where I say I truly went on to do interesting things just because of the internet. One moment I'm exploring, the next I'm creating for others to explore, so enjoy exploring my courses over the internet (they're free if you have a LinkedIn Premium account).
